05 December 2011:

On 7th, Abhijit presents to the humanitarian community in Nairobi his findings on the Horn of Africa response to the famine and drought earlier this year.

20 November 2011:

Abhijit is now travelling in the Horn of Africa region to undertake the inter-agency real-time evaluation of the drought/famine response. He is leading on the regional aspects of the response and also involved in the Kenya country RTE. In this connection he will be visiting Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti over the next three weeks.

07 November 2011:

RMC's report on UNICEF's performance in the Haiti earthquake response is now available on UNICEF's website

01 April, 2011:

Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA has just published the report on Haiti review which we did for them earlier this year.The report is now available on their website

We are about the finish the work we started for UNICEF in November last year. Meanwhile, Results Matter completed an interesting review for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC, UK) as part of its accountability to broadcasters who support DEC during its appeals. In April, Abhijit is travelling to Myanmar on a mission for the United Nations Development Programme.

25 October, 2010:

Just completed a Report for the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on an internal evaluation of OCHA systems and processes. Abhijit worked with Roberta Lossio from Brazil and one other consultant from Italy over the past two months and the draft went in today.

15 October, 2010:

Results Matter has been awarded a contract by UNICEF to undertake an evaluation of its response to the Haiti Earthquake. Abhijit will be leading a team which has four other consultants who will be working on this project which starts on November 8.
