(2) Evaluation of UNICEF-DFID Phase III Programme of Cooperation to Strengthen UNICEF humanitarian capacity and engagement with humanitarian reforms. (3) Evaluation of UNICEF’s response to South Ossetia Crisis. (4) Examination of Policy Implications for UNICEF’s global programme arising out of Tsunami lessons and in the context of Humanitarian Reforms.
UNDP: (1) Mid-term review of Aceh Government Transformation Programme. (2) Assessment of Development Results for Somalia country programme.
UN OCHA, New York. (1) Independent review of OCHA's respone to the Haiti earthquake. (2) Evaluation of Central Emergency Response Fund – this was an interim evaluation of the CERF as was required by General Assembly Resolution setting up this Fund.
UNHCR. Capacity building programme for Ministry of Displacement and Migration, Government of Iraq: capacity building support to the Ministry, and developed joint strategy for organisational development of this newly set up Ministry to deal with IDPs and refugees.
DFID-CARE, Sierra Leone: Reviewed current strategy, capacity and logframe of a DFID-funded governance programme to create interface between the government and civil society as part of post-conflict peace building process.
International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies, Geneva:
(1) Development of Implementation Framework for global strategy 2020 for Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.
(2) Strategic Review of Africa Plan of Action covering disaster risk reduction, food security, basic healthcare, HIV/ AIDS and capacity building of National Red Cross Societies in the Africa continent.
(3) Strategic Review of disaster preparedness and Risk Reduction work of South East Asia National Red Cross Societies and the IFRC’s role in the region,
(4) Review of management structure and system for disaster preparedness and emergency response of IFRC headquarters and developed recommendations for disaster management coordination and system.
International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva: (1) Evaluation of ICRC’s response to the Lebanon Crisis of 2006. (2) Evaluation of economic security programme and its linkage with food security and protection issues in conflict areas of Ethiopia. (3) Evaluation of ICRC’s support to Sri Lanka Red Cross Society in Disaster/Conflict Preparedness and Response and development of impact indicators.
Inter-Agency Working Group (ECB Project).
(1) Development of methodology and guidelines for utilisation-focused database of evaluation lessons for ECB Agencies (Oxfam, Save the Children, CARE, World Vision, Mercy Corps, International Rescue Committee & CRS).
(2) Multi-agency (Oxfam GB, CARE International & World Vision) real-time evaluation of Tsunami response in India and Sri Lanka.
(3) Conducted analysis of current global trends in Accountability and developed Common Accountability Framework for ECB members (Oxfam, World Vision, CARE, Mercy Corps, CRS & Save the Children).
